I’m both frustrated by and thankful for the fact that Apple stores don’t carry devices with high specifications in the store or I’d probably empty my bank account every time I walked into one.

Yep. Language matters. She was literally kidnapped by government agents. There’s no other way to put it. She’s not the first and she won’t be the last. This is how they start - with the “other” and then they expand that definition to include all undesirables. We’re well and truly fucked.

I’ve blocked most politics whenever I can. After the election, I just couldn’t handle the anxiety anymore, knowing what was coming. The next four years are going to be among the worst that anyone alive has ever lived and my mental state can’t be bombarded nonstop with the constant reminder.
