That said, if you’ve seen the latest season of White Lotus, the White POTUS sketch did a good job of incorporating the first family of evildoers into the context of the new season (even ScarJo’s brief cameo). And Chloe got to do her Parker Posey!

Not quite as good as last week’s episode but an overall solid episode. Two DT appearances in the episode was a bit much for me, though

Except for the 1980 recession, the President was a Republican when the recessions started. Reagan was elected in the fall of 1980

Skum. Leon Skum.

Opening monologue was terrible. This guy is not very funny and I’m glad he was never a cast member. Mike Myers as Skum was good, but I’m not sure what he was trying to do with the accent. It sounded a lot like Austin Powers but his Dr Evil would have been a much better choice.

I enjoyed most of the callbacks to classic sketches and liked how they had cast members from multiple eras in most of them.

Overall, I thought it was really good. Wish they had gotten the original cast together a bit more prominently for something besides the closing. Was expecting a full death montage at some point and the closest we got was Adam Sandler’s song, which was definitely a highlight.
