Levitt should not be discussing tariffs if she has no idea how they work. Just like 47, she is either lying or delusional.

He's not wrong.

47 is an idiot. His tariffs increased the costs to Walmart and that in turn increases what a consumer pays for the item. 47 lied when he said China pays the tariff and now he is trying to cover his lie. Sorry 47 this is how it works in the real world.

Everything comes with a price tag, even when it's "free".

Musk paid over $200 million for this opportunity. He needs a return on his investment.

When Hegseth gets a bunch of service people killed, will Trump take responsibility? The buck stops with Trump.

With Trump in office, ethics has left the building, and no one cares who could actually stop it.
comment in response to post
That is the key. The U S needs to ensure a president is held to a high standard of ethics and that will require Congress to take action. Trump has taken advantage of every loophole he could to enrich himself and his donors.

Not with Trump in control. Trump is Putins puppet and Trump will do whatever helps Putin and benefits Trump personally.

And we are #1 in healthcare spending while having a lower outcome than those that spend less. And we have a higher rate of infant mortality than our European counterparts who have socialized medicine. We have a lot we could learn from the rest of the world if we were not so arrogant.

The Trump administration has fully embraced Putin. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind. Actions by Trump and his yes people bears witness.

When FOTUS has completely isolated the U S from the rest of the world, the GOP will have a day of reckoning.
comment in response to post
Every member of the GOP needs to understand they either need to do their job or they will be voted out. Their constituents grow more restless every day.

Trump and Vance are clearly pushing Putins' agenda. There is no doubt after today's performance.

With the GOP running scared of FOTUS and Musk. The weaponization of the DOJ and a bunch of Putin worshippers in the administration their will be no elections in 2026. The only thing holding the country together right now is the Judicial branch.

How do you accidentally fire anyone IF you are doing your due diligence. This is at least the second time they have fired a critical group of employees. And these are just the ones that have come to light quickly.

What is the upside to that? All he is doing is hurting the indigenous people who were already under served.
comment in response to post
FOTUS hurts people for the sport of it. He has no heart, soul, empathy, or moral compass.

And the deer and elk herds became more healthy. Reintoducing the wolf was a total win for the entire ecosystem.

Their employment will be short-lived. Whoever comes in after Trump can fire them all. Unemployment will be so high they will not be able to find other employment.

We needed to fix the immigration system first before we resulted to deportation. And now Trump has just broken it even more.

And how many lives and livelihoods do Musk/Trump destroy in the process.

Next week, Kennedy will ban all vaccines pending further studies. The GOP confirmed this clown because they did not want to upset baby FOTUS.
comment in response to post
All because the FOTUS got his feelings hurt. He is pathetic.

The level of incompetence is astonishing. Fire people and then go oops we did not really mean to.

You would think after they got beat in Nov by a group who was going to implement Project 2025 they would have done a quick reassessment and understood the old ways did not work. Take the reigns off.

When is the next board meeting?

Trump is defying the Courts now despite the Court order. Unless we resort to violence and overthrow the sitting Admin, it appears democracy has died. The GOP are not going to stand up for the Constitution, and we cannot allow Trump to just do what he wants.
comment in response to post
Trump and his administration do not give any thought to long-term consequences to the country.

Glad to have you here.

I posed a similar question to my GOP Senator just over 2 weeks ago, and no response.

And how much money did we as taxpayers give them in the form of govt subsidies? Would this not be corporate welfare.

The prolife group has no problem letting humans die of disease and/or hungar.

Trump wants to fire people who did their jobs because the investigation involved him, and rightfully so. Trump did not need to lie on multiple occasions that he had classified documents. Anyone else would have gone directly to jail.

So true.
