Australian. Too political for Facebook, too old for TikTok, can’t tolerate Musk, looks like this is it. Vote Independent if you can.

Yes, it’s utterly pointless. Trumps word is worth nothing anyway.

So the Nats will tear down Littleproud, and the Libs will undermine Ley because she’s not suitably right wing for the Sky News brigade. Albanese has outdone Steven Bradbury.

Once you scratch the surface, they’re all self interested grubs. All too ready to walk over their “mates” to get a foothold on the greasy pole to the top job.

Blessed are the meek.

Malcolm Turnbull was very keen on promoting the need for us to be agile and innovative as a nation. Shortly before he was kicked to the kerb as I recall.

They cant agree on much at all it seems. I guess political parties that are all about greed and looking after yourself, are going to struggle with working together for a common goal.

They all seem like causes that would be pushed by a communist party.

All of these groups are made up of people who have been exorcised from the mainstream because they’re unable to conform, and Dean thinks they’re going to work together? Good luck with that.

I’m finding it rather funny Tim Wilson, and Jacinta Price, worked so hard to be a part of what has turned out to be the most busted arse Liberal opposition ever seen.

Just heard on the radio Perrin Davey looks like losing her senate seat.

The hide of the Liberals crying about Labor being mean to Peter Dutton.

I agree. And up against that sort of spending power it makes it extremely difficult.

A good result generally. Be a tragedy if Zoe Daniel and Monique Ryan lose though.

I’m hoping for Dan Tehan and Michaelia Cash to be teamed up together.

He did also say he wasn’t going to live in the lodge.
comment in response to post
He still has Ralphie. And hasn’t he done well.

The Liberal ON preference deal went well. Along with all the other plotting and planning. Achieved a negative result all round. What a shame

Walkley award winning stuff

Tehan must have some sort of talent I can’t see. He seems the most wooden, boring person imaginable.

He was right about one thing, he’s not moving into the Lodge.

Hope he doesn’t become leader, listening to his meandering drivel does my head in.

Sorry to see Bridget Archer go, she seemed to be one of the good ones.

Jacinta Price a notable exception.

Peter Dutton not so keen on the No vote now.

They’re erecting a statue of him in Wannon as soon as they can find a material thick enough to do him justice.

James McGrath. No point having him on at all.

What a nasty, spiteful sore loser. Pretty standard from these people.

Indigenous people get kicked again for Constable Dutton’s last ditch attempt at the quietly racist voter.

Is this a “gaffe”, or are we heading towards “embattled”?

The modern Liberal Party. Next week- let’s dig up Menzies, maybe he’s got some ideas.

Because nothing gives business more confidence than a quasi king making wildly erratic changes to a countries economic environment on a minute by minute basis.

I don’t disagree about Taylor and Hastie, but in the context of David’s original comment, a more appealing candidate than Dutton, may have been able to pull off a win with threadbare policies. Many people dont follow politics that closely. And, hate to say it, he hasn’t lost yet.

Do you want fries or mash?

I find Dutton, and his cohort as detestable as the next person, but Taylor or Hastie are more personable. As shallow as it seems, a big part of politics is to be a good salesperson, good looks, charisma, a smooth talker will win over the disinterested observer.
comment in response to post
I think it could have worked, if they hadn’t picked someone completely devoid of charisma.

What the hell is so funny?

Roskam at the end saying we haven’t seen the best of Dutton. Laughable. He’s a one trick pony whose strength is division and negativity. Once beyond that, Mark McGowan hit the nail on the head, he’s not that smart. He’s not a salesman, he’s just a blunt instrument.

No, it’s been well and truly infiltrated it seems.

Listened to the news on ABC NSW radio the other day, top stories- Peter Dutton comments on Labor’s critical minerals reserve policy, Nat MP David Layzell comments on State Govt coal mine extension, then Michael McCormack comments on attending Pope’s funeral. Not one Labor Govt. comment.

Terrifyingly ridiculous

Other social media must be getting heavily peppered with fake profiles, because there’s seems to be a huge amount of Albanese/Labor hate on there. Topham Guerin at work?
