Well, to her, "they" all look alike.

I heard that phrase more times than I could count in space of an hour this afternoon. My eye muscles are tired from all the eye rolls.

I'm sure Senator Schumer will write a strongly worded letter.

It's clear the DNC is expecting to continue the same strategies that failed in 2024. Letting right-wing messaging go unchallenged until after the MAGA primaries is a mistake. Pushing out someone like David Hogg because he is trying to do new things is short-sighted. The same thing occurred in 1968.

At least until Trump sends troops to occupy the state and appoint an occupation authority.

No, they would not. They provide the oxygen needed by animals, which in turn provide the carbon dioxide they need as well as recycling nutrients they need, not to mention that many flowering plants depend on animals, whether bees, birds, bats, butterflies, moths, beetles, humans, etc to propagate.

Unless it's a Capitol police officer defending Congress from an attempt to overthrow the government.

As I was leaving my seat at a cinema, yesterday, my heel caught on one of the steps, and I stumbled a bit. I caught myself, but I guess this means I should be sent to a retirement home because I must be senile. Right?

Trump is hoping for that to happen so he can invoke the insurrection act. He will seek to essentially occupy California and govern directly.

He's evidence that Jews are merely humans who can manifest evil just like the rest of humanity. Calling him or Netanyahu fascists is not antisemitic.

You're assuming he, Hegseth, Homan, or Noem give a rat's hairy ass about the law. Most of the military and police will do what he tells them.

Is this the opening salvo in a second civil war?

I've wondered the same thing.

Maybe he's afraid Bondi will cook up something against him and he'll lose his retirement.

Temporary is meaningless. They will clone the data and start mining it so that even if the MAGA majority rules in favour of the injunction, the damage is done. Trump's judges know this access is illegal, but they have to buy time.

I think they can count the number of people who will protest their firings on one hand of a horse.

Lot of respect for Warnock. Not so much for @kristenwelker.bsky.social and none for @jaketapper.bsky.social.

The Jackboots under this regime have made the judiciary complicit. They move to dismiss, but before the person can file an appeal, the Jackboots arrest them. I guess cattle cars are next.

I still have a strong suspicion that one of his main goals was to gain access to the vast amount of data held by government agencies to mine it.

My wife and I were talking about this a few days ago after reading another report about a work requirement for Medicaid. She use to work for the state in Medicaid policy and said pretty much the same thing.

He's too goddamn stupid to think things through. The Dunning-Kruger effect is really strong in this idiot

I truly hate that this happened. Despite the claims of some, this was not caused by news reporting what Netanyahu is doing to Gaza.

Total rubbish. I know Jews who are protesting against what Israel is doing. Are they antisemitic?
comment in response to

Bullshit. Netanyahu bombing and killing civilians and condemning thousands to starvation and treating Gaza like the Warsaw Ghetto is doing that. Maybe MAGA blames the media for reporting what's happening.

There was a time when a pope might have excommunicated him, condemned him to the stake for heresy, and placed an interdiction on the United States.

You might not have used 86 that way, but MAGA has many times on social media like Truth Social and Twitter (now X). A case can also be made that 'X' is really just a modified swastika based on the horrid posts from MAGA.

If reincarnation exists, then Miller is the reincarnation of Eichmann as a Jewish man, but he's still incapable of feeling human decency.

I am always struck by how his rants about people who criticise him always use insults that apply to him. Words such as "jerk", "stupid", and "no talent" always apply to him.

The texts have become insulting. Some of them say that if I don't respond, I'll be listed as a Trump supporter. That gets an immediate response of "STOP" followed by a "fuck you". Usually the same idiots text from a different number within 24 hrs with a similar msg.

It does appear that way, doesn't it. Soon, the agents of ICE will move to wearing long tailored coats and jackboots. They took an oath to defend the Constitution, but claim to be just be following orders even those orders ignore constitutional requirements of due process.
