They also have a dodo, a sneaky-looking pangolin, and Tiny Frogs Of Death in the aquarium, but Grom and I speak as one regarding Mr Walrus:

The Icicle Bear (as he was known in the Other Place) @hornimanmuseum.bsky.social is a gent. A Unit almost capable of rivaling @themerl.bsky.social.

That said, given the last couple of SMIDSYs I had were by those red police vans on Whitehall, I thank that van driver for attempting to rebalance the scales for me.

Is Silvius getting ready for Glastonbury?

Yep. I think the only place my phone's contactless payment didn't work was getting train tickets to and from the airport, when my card worked fine instead.

Presume you will also need to go back in about four years, like me, when the Viking Ship museum reopens...?

And it's a bit of a trek, but the Fram museum is brilliant. YOU CAN WALK ON A POLAR EXPLORATION VESSEL.

If/when you go to Copenhagen, I have a local's recommendation (very much endorsed by me) for cardamom buns. Back in Oslo, the coffee in Kaffebrenneriet is pretty good.

Oh! It's lovely! Pack good rain gear, because it's either beautiful weather or DELUGE.
Unsurprisingly the harbour around the Opera House is v popular. Tram to Frogner for the sculpture park, or in the other direction to Ekebergparken. If you have time to wander up the Akerselva, do so.

It was suggested I try a Corsa at one point, and Dad and I just looked at each other. Dad offered to give us push start when I agreed to a test drive just to shut up the dude in the garage. Might have laughed a bit much when she cra-a-a-wled off on the flat.

I loved my first car (Seymour, a grey Fiesta).
I loved my last car (Barney, a purpley-metallic-blue Fiesta).
I _didn't mind_ my in-between car (Tuesday, a loyal, hard-working, but just not *it* red Seat Ibiza).

Crikey, Parkin, I haven't been given a stare like this since I was a teenager.

Alt text: a frame from a DC Pride issue, showing Superboy in full cape get-up doing a full swoop-and-dip passionate kiss with a cute pink-haired boy in a slash-sided t-shirt. Overlaid are the words "in every universe, you belong". Underneath DC have added "And we'll just keep saying it".

That you have the same name of my dad, who I was talking to about this last weekend (I'm the space student), tickles me.
He and Mum both said they'd believe it when they see something waving back with placards... I may have over-egged how strong we'd need the evidence to be.

I've promised myself the Lego space "posters" when I finally finish the degree later this year.
Sometimes there have been bookshop splurges.
