Think of all the great writers and historians who have spent endless hours going through primary source materials, then spending more hours pondering the meaning and human stories and connections within those materials to produce some of our great books. AI can’t replace that.

I attended the National Book Festival on the Mall back in the day and there was easily 10x that number. For the BOOK festival! 😂😂😂

Wow. The New York Times is ACTUALLY covering this? It usually goes out of its way to avoid covering anti-Trump protests. Good job @nytimes.com 👏

Mulder & Scully. No worries here.

Trump thinks he’s going after California, but I bet 85% of these farmers and agribusiness owners - whose produce is going to rot - voted for him.

Megan McArdle’s ridiculous take:

You nailed it. I’ve been trying for YEARS to capture what it is exactly that always annoys me about Megan McArdle and you’re spot on: she’s a lazy thinker.

Two little bitches trading insults on Twitter (X - whatever) are “high agency males”? 🤣

To be fair, it’s hard to cover the current administration if you’re still busy covering the previous president. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Who’s going to cover Biden’s on-going aging issues if they’re busy covering all the grift and criming in the Trump administration?

Take note smug Trump voters with health insurance: cutting Obamacare and Medicaid are going to drive up your healthcare costs, too.

One of the few shining lights left in Iowa is The Des Moines Register. Well done.👏👏👏

She’s not defending. She’s just mocking.

A woman at her town hall shouted that people will die (if Medicaid is cut). She was mocking the woman in the audience, implying that the woman didn’t know that we all die. (Hence the tooth fairy comment). Aside from being cruel, Joni’s humor just sucks.

Un.Fucking.Believable. Doubling down on mocking very real and reasonable fears of her constituents. Such a good “Christian”.

Never mind the fact that ~90% of white women assaulted or killed are victims of white men they know.

By actual data measurements and other accomplishments, Biden was one of the great presidents of both the 20th/21st centuries. This shows what complete trash our elites and political classes - on both sides - have become.

Hey @jaketapper.bsky.social : Any comment on Trump’s incoherent “trophy wives and yachts” speech at West Point today? No? Nothing? Didn’t think so. Still too many “Joe Biden old” stories from last year to recycle, rinse, repeat?

Crypto bros can be violent sociopaths? I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

This is a good footnote to add. I had no idea Bill Levitt was. A criming bigot with a yacht…of course Trump admires him.

My immediate impression after watching this 60 Minutes interview was this guy has the social and emotional maturity of a 13-year-old. Yet ANOTHER adolescent tech-bro man child.

Yeah! Let’s talk about Joe Biden’s cancer! NOT about the thousands of Americans who will die from cancer because they lost their Medicaid… if Markwayne Mullin’s gets his way.

This is what our current POTUS was up to at 1:30 am last night, but let’s talk about aging Joe Biden. There is no better representative of America’s failed corporate media than Jake Tapper.

The press may not be the enemy of the people, but it sure as hell treated Biden like he was their enemy. If the media applied even a 10th of the scrutiny to Trump that they did to Biden, we wouldn’t be here today.

“Tribal”? So no one in the federal government - say Interior or Bureau of Indian Affairs can say: “tribal government”, “tribal courts”, “tribal council”, “tribal water board”🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Outside of Fox News, no media figure did more to get Trump reelected than A.G. Sulzberger.
