Specific angles, Specific Wrestlers, Specific matches. But even when WWE and WCW were at their worst, the same could be said about them. But I dont think TNA has been better than C-Tier at any point in its existence. I say that knowing that I went to see them live. Twice.

Because they had Vince Russo from the very beginning, despite their insistence that he wasn't there. It was always the worst parts of WCW booking. Then Eric and Hulk show up and treat AJ, Joe, CD, and Abyss like children, and everything positive about them went away.

I feel like it stopped being really good when it stopped being bi-weekly ppvs. It has had its moments where the had really good angles, stellar talent, and they've had an incredible history of matches. But after going to TV I dont know if the product as a whole was ever actually good.

TNA has been nothing but a distraction from real wrestling since the day Hulk Hogan found out what it was.

It gets him Awesome Truth vs Cena and Punk. They love that "BUT CAN THEY COEXIST!?" bullshit.
Id say it's a solid bet it happens.

The irony of all of this is, if he would have just gona back stage and smoked a joint instead of starting a fight, he would probably be AEW Champion right now getting 5 star matches with Omega and Os

It would be easy to see them let him go and think "If Truth doesn't have enough tenure or respect to be kept, how long am I valuable?"

I think its a combination of that and several high profile wrestlers/backstage people threatening to walk at the end of their current deals.

Let's also give Mercedes credit for this being her best AEW promo so far. She feels like shes finally finding herself again. That "I was a Boss, now im a CEO" line was delivered to absolute perfection.

Im honestly indifferent. If she sees a better opportunity she is justified in jumping on it. I was never that big on her, she just felt like an accessory, even in her own storyline. I know alot of people love her, but im fine with other women getting her TV time.
