The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers. That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions.

We never had to worry about the U.S. military being used against our own country when Biden was president. But that’s exactly what’s happened under both Trump administrations.

Can you imagine having to pick sides between Trump and Elon Musk?

I decided to stay out of politics. Here’s why I went on a 30 tweet bender about politics last night. by Elon Musk

Good. Oklahoma stopped from being even more backwards. "Supreme Court deadlock leaves in place ruling blocking nation’s first religious charter school" www.cnn.com/2025/05/22/p...

I just found out I will be boycotting a couple of local businesses and I'm a bit saddened. www.huffpost.com/entry/public...

I wish more people would notice.

Note how much of what Trump is trying to destroy, from Radio Free Europe to transatlantic trade, is precisely what the Russians most want him to destroy www.nytimes.com/2025/04/26/u...

I wanted to try and figure out how Neil Gorsuch concluded that 'Pride Puppy', an ABCs book about a lost dog at a pride parade that he insists he read, exposes kids to "bondage" and "sex workers." The answers are somehow even dumber than you can imagine. A brief thread:

Living on the edge this morning. Posted an opinion on the Facebook community page where I live. The audacity.

I never played "The Last of Us". I had seen clips of people playing but knew very little of the plot. I started watching the series on HBO because it looked interesting and I liked some of the actors. I just watched Season 2, Episode 2. I had no idea what happened was going to happen. I'm shook.

As Trump gets more unpopular, you’re going to see vulnerable Republicans like Don Bacon and Susan Collins expressing “concern” and “worry.” Don’t fall for it. They aren’t going to do jack shit. In a time of crisis, it doesn’t matter what you say. It matters what you do.

The Pope dies and the US stock market tanks again. What is the connection? #horriblepitch #badtakes

Pay a living wage or better. "The idea is that, when employees are happier, they’re more productive and provide better service to customers. There is also less turnover. That means lower costs and higher sales." www.hbs.edu/bigs/costco-...

It's hailing. Not much I can do about it.

"Achoo"

The allergens this wind is blowing through the state is giving me a headache. Tree pollen Very High today.

The good news is that the constitution provides ways for Congress and the Judiciary to reign in a power-hungry president. The bad news is those people are all scared of him.

More like "Not so good Friday" so far.

That weird email I got about canned meat turned out to be spam.

I love how "past" me takes care of future me. I bought myself a snack Friday and put it in my drawer at work and just discovered it today. Thank you!!!!

The maxim "It's funny because it's true" applies.

Oh really?

You know your world view has shifted when ordering something online and your first thought isn't who is cheaper or faster, but which corporation is less evil, and could I find this locally?

Shh... Don't tell. www.rawstory.com/trump-tariff...

This seems like good news, but also feels like pandering. www.bbc.com/news/article...

I have to admit, I was worried this "Boys from Oklahoma" red dirt music festival was going to be a traffic nightmare and cause all kinds of other problems, but day one wasn't too bad. Three more days to go.

The meaning of "You can't go home again" becomes much clearer as you get older. That time and place simply ceased to exist.

WATCH: “Oh, really? Oh shit. Ok.” A CEO realizes Trump tanked his stock live on an earnings call.

In the grand scheme of things, fluoride is the least of our worries right now.

As we watch the economic news unfold, we should remember that the super-wealthy love recessions. When we lose the shirt off our backs, they come in and buy our land and businesses for pennies. This is a premeditated hit on the working class.

Ope.

Daaaaaaaammmmnnn....

Buckle up.

If you still believe these reckless tariffs will somehow make you better off in the long run, you’re either an oligarch or an imbecile.
