They don’t want you to use it to write your own adventures. They want you to buy their adventures, and only look up monsters when they tell you to. I’d like it if all Humans were together. Goblins were with bugbears and hobgoblins. All ghosts together. Mass grouping please.

That’s right fellas, make your tactical withdrawal. Only a lose-lose situation in front of you. When don’t have to beat them, we just have to make the cost of victory too high.

As someone who reads reviews, I prefer to start with the tone you will end with. Is it mostly bad? Then start with the bad stuff. Is it mostly good? Then the bad stuff is the exception, and should close. I’d say only mix it in if explaining the whole concept in an order (like a movie) would help.

Prices will round to the nearest nickel. This may have negative repercussions, but that’s what’ll happen. The solution to that (if we’re lucky) will require including taxes in the listed price, and then rounding all prices to .05

As I try to get back into reading, if I find I’ve lost interest, I immediately stop, return the book on Libby, find something that does sound interesting, and start that. I’ve gone back to books to continue, and it’s removed so much of the guilt/shame that has stopped my reading for years.

Remembering how to get out of the dungeon, when you are loaded down by loot and low on health, was still considered part of the adventure. How well were you paying attention on the way in? I also never had fun with that, but that is why, to my understanding.

I love to start new campaigns with a session of Microscope, so the players have an active hand in defining the local area.

Absolutely. Also in determining if the decision was in their bad planning, or your miscalculating.

Well you should be able to compensate before they draw steel.

The trick is if you feel like you’re getting sick, to never say “I don’t have time to get sick right now!” That’s when it gets ya.
