Relatedly, if you haven't been in an archives you have no idea just how much historical material is not online, not even a digital record of it. An LLM cannot research data it doesn't have. It can't even extrapolate where to find that material.

My experience with professors making blanket rules and then handling accommodations on a case-by-case basis without considering disability up front is that it tends to harm and marginalize disabled students.
Schools do have processes for this, but they often suck.
