That’s an important consideration.
If it has paying users, IMO you should have your e2e tests in place.
Tests will boost your confidence, and enable rapid development.
The tests will guarantee users can use existing functionality, in case you to too fast
CI . CD in its core is about tests.

Does it help in getting boiler plates fast? Yes
Does it help in writing code? Yup
Does it enable others to get started? Absolutely.
But is coding all software engineers do? Nope
These tools can help handling syntax and API's and free us to focus more on problem solving, design, etc.
