I love our new kitchen, a statement my younger self would slap me for. So easy to clean I want to clean it, slap. Space to prepare stuff, slap. A controllable hob that actually gets hot, slap. An oven that cooks evenly, no rotating food so everything is equally burned, slap slap. Slap happy.

Had one of my occasional, recurring stress dreams last night. I'm in a house resembling one I've lived in or know in some way. As I explore away from the main living area it becomes more shabby, flimsy and insubstantial until it's swaying in the breeze and I'm left holding on to walls and roofs.

The pub next door have painted the adjoining ginnel matt black and the local goth/emo teens have claimed it. It's an improvement over the public pissers, shaggers and coke heads but they need to up their music game. John Legend and Coldplay just won't do, although the sadness in there is at 11 rn.
