Reminds me of this old gem:

But again, that wasn’t their position in 2024.
The fact that you’re like a dog with a bone on this fairly minor point about counterfactual history and uninterested in the broader problem about how tactical voters hold candidates to account suggest you don’t have a useful answer.

I won’t be voting Tory under any circumstances. But voting to bolster the Greens to make them a threat and focus Labour minds? Seems more effective than a Labour vote right now.

I’ve voted tactically in every election since 2015 and advocated tactical voting since 1995. But there is a difference between voting out a party and endorsing a dreadful party that takes your support for granted.

Is it? If the Tories had won on a reduced majority, would they have been able to get anything done? We cannot possibly know.
Either way, elections are about accountability. Saying you have to support Labour no matter what they do just gives them license to behave even worse.

I’m well aware that the next Tory candidate will be worse than the last one, but if I vote Labour next time there’s a strong chance he’ll end up being worse than the platform the Tory was standing on. That’s certainly what happened in 2024. It’s a dismal choice.

I agree. But that said I’m wrestling how to vote next time. It’s one thing to vote Labour to get the Tories out of power, another to vote for a candidate who has consistently backed the most right wing, ablist, racist and queerphobic government in recent times and has a 15 vote majority

But what does a “good death” of the Daily Express look like? Does it explain inside?

Keynesianism in action. Not sure about the multiplier effect when it’s all going into the hands of big corpos though.

"you have npc energy" oh you mean I'm well written? Fully voiced by a professional actor, while you express yourself entirely through grunts and mouse clicks? That's what I thought.
