And this being bureaucratic Britain, if we did have id imposed on us, it would never be enough, still have to mess about providing bank statements, council tax bills etc at job interviews. Then they’d eventually start charging us to renew them every 10 years etc..

I very politely asked Jehovahs Witnesses to please never knock on my door again, ever and to be so kind as to let everyone at their local Kingdom Hall know to never bother me again, please, thanks Had to laugh when they again knocked on my door “just checking you still don’t want to be contacted”.
