Totally get that! I managed to sneak it as a teen. Because banning books doesn’t actually keep kids from reading them 😂

The only book my parents ever banned me from reading was Twilight, but only because other parents & teachers made a big deal about it. Most of the time I read what I wanted. Now TV was different. I wasn’t allowed to watch shows where my parents thought younger characters were rude/mean to people.
