As much as I like #StarTrek, I agree that the Prime Directive is kind of a very dumb source of tension. Proven by the fact it usually feels morally justified to break it so often.

Ten years ago on Mother’s Day, I told my mom that right wing terrorism was the scariest thing to me.
She scoffed & rattled off some insane nonsense, hence the infrequency of calls, but like since that conversation attempt, an insurrection happened, political murder has happened, & judges arrested.
