i don't think there's a chance in hell trump will send US troops to iran. i doubt he'll even send bombers. i think he'll just keep hinting at US involvement until iran agrees to sign a peace deal that involves concessions re: its nuclear program.

if the "abandon harris" movement is made up of progressives, then this is an empty threat. if the movement is made up of conservatives, then they they were never going to vote for harris in the first place, and thus weren't in a place to "abandon" her.
