If a minority means they need to make friends with the Bloc, it could be beneficial since hsr would have real benefits in Quebec 🤷♀️
I honestly hope it doesn't matter and they get er done regardless

Fewer know that they were just R2 before the Official Languages Act was introduced - Right Toque-Droite Toque.

This is insane - everyone has a right to due process. You could shoot someone live on tv, and you still deserve your day in court and your rights to be upheld - period!

Now let's pressure the conservatives to remove this twat, who, among having many other extremist views, thinks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is a “Fake Holiday” promoted by “Feminazis” from the South London-Elgin riding

That song came on while I was in a grocery store in a small Namibian town last yr, and I can't even measure the amt of joy it brought me. So I'll respectfully disagree. I think enough time has passed for it to be happy nostalgia now.

In '85 the requirement was only 1 shot (I'm '84, and I believe they are the same). If you aren't sure if you've received a booster since, I would just get one - they're covered, and it's quicker and easier than testing titres or digging up your record

Omg yes! When I take the bus to visit my parents in Mississauga, I have to cross the street to get to their place, and it's so scary - why is the intersection soooo big!?

Ya fair enough. I don't really know enough about nuclear to hold an intelligent conversation. All I know is there are some plants in Ontario, which Dougie could limit exports from. The impact of that is possibly minimal, but I guess that's why having unity from all provs is important

I believe almost all the uranium comes from Saskatchewan, but some (most?) of it is refined/converted in Ontario before being exported

Their weak schedule worries me. But hopefully they can hold on to the 12th seat if they continue to liberally rest the starters lol
Thanks for weighing in :)

Do you think there's a chance they somehow fumble the tank and make the play-in 😭?

None of these ppl needed to go to the polls. They could've requested at home voting up until 6pm today. There is no excuse not to vote

This is horrific - the US is strong-arming their way to this "deal". The entire western world should step in to stop this

Fair point. I'm not sure. It would be interesting to see what he's specifically planning to spend less on.
In my ideal world it would be replacing EI, OAS, etc with UBI and saving on admin, but I would guess that's probably not it.

I'm not sure if you're being facetious, but I'll answer in earnest: He could mean create policies etc that would appeal to foreign investment or make it easier and more favourable for businesses to be established without much gov't spend 🤷♀️
altho if you figure out the RRSP thing pls let me know lol

Aw I'm kinda sad. I like Davion.
I guess with Quick on the mend and Shead becoming a staple rotation piece, he was the odd man out. But I'm still upset

Yep. It's why the CBC is more important than ever (and probably why it receives so much vitriol from conservatives)

Even moreso, fork those who didn't even bother to vote. I hope they don't know happiness, at least for the duration of the cheeto's reign

I don't live in Quebec, but I would totally watch a remake of Die Hard starring Bonhomme Carnival
