It doesn’t matter who started it. Israel is always the victim and they are part of the US political system mileage program which gives them extra milage and allows them to maintain victim status after killing over 20 times their losses and not having to worry about if they kill women and children.

The reason no one is in a rush to negotiate, is that Trump’s word is more worthless than any document/agreement containing his signature. If they agree too quickly, “ it must not be a good deal for us” is reason number 2.
