I’m on all those and I miss life events of people I care about all the time. Part of that is algorithms and part of it is my tendency to click the “unfollow but stay friends” button.

Everytime I go I see ad Tweets from super douchey MAGA people. I don’t get it. They don’t use algorithms for their ad campaigns? At least Facebook shows me ads of things I secretly actually want. Annoying but tolerable.

Therapists usually allow for pauses to make sure you don't have anything to add, or tease out what you are saying before they launch into advice. Pi just launched into 5-part solutions which is exactly what I hate about therapy in general.

The people at the court that was opening up were still lingering so it was going to involve talking to them and making sure they were done. We did ultimately move but I was irritated.

The best description I ever heard of THE BIG LEBOWSKI is that after FARGO, the Coens were so spooked by having made a masterpiece that they consciously worked to avoid doing the same things on the followup and in so doing accidentally made another masterpiece.
