The party line is apparently that “Russia is not a trading partner” — no imports/exports, so no tariffs. Which is all enormously untrue as far as I know, but through the looking glass… apparently things are simpler.

Between that, the gigafactory outside Austin being exempted from Austin’s environmental codes despite the watershed and pollution concerns for the area, and what he’s done to Boca Chica beach and the surrounding area in south TX… his impact may be more ‘memorable’ and long-lasting than the Alamo.

Ummm… they said, plainly, in Project 2025, the goal and plan is to use non-government communication channels to avoid FOIA requests and evidence, no? Why was this at all a surprise?! Of COURSE they are doing it daily. They said they would.

Yep. And in the age of gig work, it’s even further from truth — because even if gig work dries up or you can’t do it anymore or you get banned from the platform, not eligible for unemployment. You don’t count.
So anyone who’s been doordashing or whatever to get by? Invisible to the statistics.

Seriously. Everywhere that has done this has seen increases in serious dental issues, especially in children, and they go back to putting it in. What would have to happen for people to learn from *other people’s* mistakes, research, and understanding and not have to FAFO *everything*?! 🤦♀️

Yes… and: Project 2025 specifically called for doing this. It’s a pretty clear thing to prove, I would think, & should have been anticipated. So the fact that there isn’t a united push to prosecute indicates that there IS no viable opposition. All are complicit, complacent, or impotent. 🤷♀️

This is what I don’t understand. All of this is right there in the published plan. Use non-government communications to avoid FOIA requests and accountability. They are executing the plan as they said they would. Is it a horrific plan? Yes. But are they doing exactly what it says? Also kinda YES. 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Yeah, mine pointed out how hard it is to do that and wondered if it was actually done intentionally as a way to make sure EU saw the insults.
