First blooms today in my garden of Red Drift® Rose (Rosa 'Meigalpio'). It produces many flushes of petite flowers that blaze scarlet red all season long. You'll be enjoying brilliant blooms from late spring all the way through the first frost!

Nhu Tran captured this historic rose perfectly. The extremely popular Pompon Veranda® rose grows medium-sized, scented, very full and bulbous blooms. These light pink flowers are embraced with greenish outer petals, and dive into a deep-pink centre.

Rose Cardinal de Richelieu It is memorable for the depth of purple in the blooms. The reverse is near white, producing a lovely and dramatic effect. On its own roots it may be pruned to remain a modest shrub, but in warm climates it may be grown as an eight foot climber. #RoseWednesday

Giant White Poppy The white poppy is worn as a symbol of peace and a commitment to finding non-violent solutions to conflict, representing a hope for a future without war. It's often worn alongside the red poppy, which symbolizes remembrance and hope for the future. Hope wins!

Magnolia sieboldii is a broadleaf deciduous shrub with green foliage. In spring and summer red and white flowers emerge followed by pink fruit. Generally, they represent purity, nobility, perseverance, and everlasting connections.

Sweden Made Magnolia known for its beautiful, fragrant flowers. It's considered a fine selection of the hybrid, with larger than average, exceptionally fragrant white flowers that open to reveal a red center. The flowers are also known for their long bloom period and strong fragrance.

Raspberry Sundae pink, double, fragrant, midseason, 36″ tall, lactiflora. Looks like a scoop of vanilla ice cream with raspberry topping dripping through the petals. It has a mild, sweet fragrance. Excellent cut flower.

Little White Tiger Intermediate Bearded Iris: Standards and style arms white; falls white ground heavily veined violet, lightly ruffled; beards yellow; slight fragrance.

A tuft of white petals rises from a green base of guard petals in a most unusual color combination of lime-green and white, then maturing with washes of shell-pink. The very prominent central stamen are dense golden-yellow and together with the pedals, fully open to very-large, 8" blossoms.

Ivana Komanickâ shares her photo of her historic rose this morning. Tolstoj was bred in 1936 by a Czech breeder Jan Böhm, it is a setigera hybrid. It is a climbing rose with big and very fragrant blooms. Available in Czech Republic.
