Apathetic Gen Xer like so many of us. (I guess technically not “many”) Queen of TMI, part time croshitter and occasional rpger. Often financial know-it-all for a DC nonprofit, living in Balmer suburbs as a full-time wife, mom, and gramma.

every incoming admin gets a budget to "update" the Oval Office according to their taste. Some of it is going through the vaults and pulling out old rugs, artwork, etc., and some of it is painting. Looks like 47 decided to tacky it up with gilt like he does his apartment. New money is gauche.

their ages/lack of work experience don't bother me nearly as much as the idea that they may be putting in back doors to these systems that will *never* be found and will be leaked to Dark Web sites in perpetuity. Our federal payment systems are *forever* compromised.

true. "Dear Leader" may make himself president for life for all we know and when he dies in office (probably before 2029, honestly) it will not be Vance that takes over, but Musk, even though he technically isn't eligible to run for office.

1,460. The January 20 is a half day on each end, so I did the math for January 20, 2025 to January 19, 2029.
