Okay RE4 Otome Edition is gold. It's had me consistently laughing since I started it and the writing is fantastic. So many little nods to other things and Ashley is so snarky oh my gosh. I love it.

I know posting "the girls are fighting" seems funny, but it's actually insensitive and shitty. My father died in a girl fight. He tried to break it up and the girls pulled him apart like freshly baked bread. He didn't even scream. One moment he was there, the next just a spray of dad viscera.

i think it's a schema issue. when people encounter info that is glaringly different from their expectations, they have to either invest cognitive resources in fitting that info to their worldview or just reject it. people treat Rs like they're 'Real Americans' and them being pedos is too dissonant.
