thanks, will see if I can have a chat and ask how they went with it

My plan: collate them, and then prompt chatgpt to choose one and filter out the bad translations. I've tried with an example test and it seems to work fine

it's just that imgui renders in immediate mode and buttons are laid out and put into the draw buffer immediately from left to right. When I want to align things on the right I have to offset manually last I tried. Having said that I have tricks for alignment which I haven't done because lazy

the buttons are dear imgui based and I guess that's the default

nothing too special just interpolation of bone positions/rotations etc, if you pause you can probably see the bone bending wrong

it's actually just the walk animation from mixamo, but interpolated depending on the direction. It's mixed from four animations (left/right/back/front) and the feet actually clips through each other when going diagonally because I couldn't find the diagonal version on mixamo, but the skirt hides it

nope, royalty free mocap + programmatic modifications (seems most economical and suitable for me at this point) e.g bending knees, bending body back during kicks at certain frames, splicing different hand animations together at certain times etc

ah never saw that article now that I checked it unfortunately, will give it a peep sometimes later (may be too late now that I have implemented the state machine architecture)
