The murder of Jonathan Joss is a prime example of why Pride Month is still very much essential

blocked me for this lmfao very stable and rational individual running the account, I see. definitely portraying someone who cares about environmental impacts and their effects on climate and weather. definitely not reeking of someone who's grifting off the alt account trend. @altnoaa.bsky.social

hey, uh, any advice for when your mind is a hellscape of your own making?

Imo this is part of why you'll see center-left folks sell out and go full right-wing when they get a following. The left holds people accountable, often viciously. That's not profitable for public figures. The right will pay you to say slurs, you don't have to temper your beliefs at all.

Looking for tips on how to own and charge an electric vehicle while living in an apartment complex! I just bought my first EV (the price to features ratio is worth the hassle of charging) and I'm still navigating how to keep it charged without spending too much time/money #AskBluesky #help

Tune in to the Indy 500 stream and the FIRST thing I see is AI slop depicting Michael Strahan. Whack.

"The soldiers — who said they’re no longer serving in Gaza — said the practice sped up operations, saved ammunition, and spared combat dogs from injury or death." The IDF considered Palestinian lives to be less valuable than the lives of DOGS apnews.com/article/isra...

Why do car dealerships have to be so stressful 😅

Waiting outside a Jewish museum to shoot people coming out of an event hosted by a Jewish organization is antisemitism, this is not hard. Horrifying, but not hard. This is antisemitism, and it's wrong, and it's bad.

This is not the right way to fight for Palestine. Killing civilians is wrong. Period. This kind of action would obviously lead to heavier scrutiny and hate against Palestine and its supporters at a time when the tide was starting to shift. That being said... this reeks in a CIA kind of way.

Pass it on. The abbreviation e.g doesn't stand for "example given," it stands for "exempli gratia" (for example) and i.e stands for "id est" (in other words), and they're not interchangeable. Many thanks to the Language Nerds FB group for this explanation.

Working on reading the Bible front to back for the first time and, fun fact: 1 Chronicles is like cliffnotes for everything that came before it :)

Bf and his friends watched Whiplash the other day and he's been begging me to watch it with him but I kept putting it off because I had a feeling I wouldn't like it. Finally watched it and, well, I was correct 😬

If you say this in a speech, NYU will withhold your diploma

I guess most of Gen Z is too young to remember those AI chatbots that used to be on the internet. The bots would always end up racist because people would "teach" it racist things and/or they'd end up so riddled with nonsense they became useless. Feels pretty obvious that that would happen again.

Not to problem dump but, as I'm having a Bad Mental Health Day like a day after going "Man. My mental health has been a lot better lately :D" this comic is extremely relatable at the moment.

as someone who lives nextdoor to both supportive housing and public housing, i need people to understand that the best locations for both are going to be the central neighborhoods in a metropolitan area, where there is easy and reliable access to services and jobs.

I am Completely Normal about the new Sleep Token album

Whoever cursed me to almost always end up with hair in my mouth every time I eat and to always suffer a catastrophe when I make stuffed bell peppers: go FUCK yourself.

Oh yeah nice one kid hook that hope for humanity right into my veins

Idk I just feel like if a country feels that they can safely bomb MULTIPLE other countries while committing a genocide then that country probably doesn't need to get funding from the taxpayers of another country.
