I believe in social justice and fairness. Try my best to do the right thing, but I’m far from perfect. Please don’t be offended when I don’t respond to DM’s. Always happy to respond to comments on posts.

These journos are so disconnected from how the real world works. The vast majority have never stood to be elected to any post, or actually run or managed so much as a whelk stall #theobserver

It is in the National interest Jolyon. Have you really no perception of how hugely complex, difficult, divisive and toxic even trying to join the CU would be right now? Strengthening EU relations whilst doing deals which ARE possible is the right course

Should have kept Steve Cooper

You do indeed have that right, but don’t have a go at a team who have delivered massively more than your lot this season

The only stat that matters is the one at the top. 1-0. Forest are in a comfortable 3rd after 30 games. That’s no fluke. They know how to win. BTW, thanks for Anthony!

Oh dear! Them grapes must be so sour. You would die for a team that play for the badge like ours do.

I remember in the promotion season, against Stoke, I think (the one where Samba got sent off late on) turning round to two blokes who were constantly slagging Yatesy off to pipe down. They did! He has always given 100%

IMHO, This City Is Ours was way better than Adolescence, which for me, fell away after the two brilliant opening episodes for a number of reasons

Just finished watching it, excellent. Gripping and tense throughout.

Totally agree, but also, how on earth does someone, well past his best, who doesn’t always get in the team for a club in the 5th best league in Europe get near the England squad?

Absolutely not!

We don't, I'm a Waspi woman didn't expect and don't want compensation, I list my WFP but like millions of other pensioners didn't need it, you only speak for yourself, don't presume to speak for me.

Whatever they do for the team, what message does the selection of these 2 send to aspiring players? Henderson-past his best, playing in the 5th best league in Europe. Rashford-done nothing for 2 years, sulked till he got a move, 7 starts all season

At yet no one can describe how we would overcome the huge practical and political obstacles there are to rejoining (both sides of the channel), or how long that might take.

DoS can also be streamed on iPlayer. Watched it yesterday. Saw it originally at the cinema. Quite brilliant and wickedly funny. Superb cast. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I’m retired but worked for many years on client facing projects with multiple ’partner’ organisations. All of us had vested interests. I learned from experience that if you could develop and maintain good relationships, even if it seemed one-sided at times, it always paid dividends at some point
