Our elementary school kid smoothly and casually made the switch to calling this teenager her new name with no friction at all. It was wild. ❤️ I knew it would be fine in a general way, because KIDS UNDERSTAND STUFF, but it was really something to actually see it firsthand. Life is good. (3/3)

... remember them transitioning. After the review, he was like, "Okay, cool." We went over what to do if we make mistakes with the change (correct yourself and move along without making a big fuss), and that was that.
