About 20% of the country voted for it, and half of those were just shielded from truth / lied to. Most of those who chose not to vote, likewise. The largest demographic are people who think "politicians are all the same, it's all bs", and again that's largely down to propaganda

I agree but what we have to understand is the average citizen was shielded from 95% of it, by X, right wing news, YouTube algorithm rabbit holes, and more recently by supposedly 'neutral' news which lies by omission for fear of being accused of bias. Dangerous place to go to think most wanted this.
