Armageddon is happening under his watch.

And who exactly elected this social mobility spokesperson? Just like before lessons were not learnt. Shame on Labour if they keep hm in his post. #Change

Surely the job of the Speaker is to maintain order and not allow MPs to make tits of themselves in the HoC and bring it into disrepute? He has allowed this behaviour to go on for years....lest we forget the shenanigans of the now departed Gullis and the untruths delivered from the dispatch box.

Define better 😉

MPs, as grown ups, should show self regulation and respect when in the HoC. All party Leaders should reaffirm the need for decency and reciprocal respect lest they forget the HoC goes out live to the world....not a pretty spectacle most of the times.

His unpredictability was very preditcable in this case.

Today?...he's been snoozing on the job for years. And these are MPs who criticise school children's behaviour and pontificate over it 😒

It has become the norm under the current Speaker.

Was the Speaker snoozing? He allows this behaviour week in week out.

It could be her downfall.

Maybe if we raise concerns…. as if people haven’t already…about her own fiscal rules she may decide to listen? Why stop at the WFA when she can repair some of the damage done by her heel digging?
comment in response to post
It would have been refreshing to hear her say I’ve listened to the concerns and changed the WFA policy and restored it for many pensioners rather than mention the economy is doing better…. Is it?

The PVI sector is not just nurseries...it includes pre schools and Ofsted registered childminders.

Maybe now Labour have listened to concerns about the WFA and made the necessary adjustments they will also listen to concerns about the BBC impartiality...or definite lack of...and look into very much needed changes especially at the top of it.

It's a UTurn for poorer pensioners but not for the richer ones.....so not a UTurn overall
comment in response to post
It is not a Uturn otherwise all would get it. It is an adjustment.

It is not a U turn otherwise every pensioner including rich ones would get it. It's an adjustment.

Can we still hope and pray the current govt will do something about this? #Change

The FSM will not be extended to children in Early Years settings whose parents receive UC....so not ALL children will benefit.
