I remember a local family whose son died in one of the Gulf wars tripling down...I think that can more easily happen bc they have to make their kid's death make sense.

"Reevaluate the way you are doing things" - not strong enough language in my opinion

We did that as a student council fundraiser. My junior high newspaper literally had a gossip column where we just used initials (like nobody would know). In my high school psych class, the teacher let a fellow student come in and read our auras 🤣🤣

You seem to have a big following here (other places?) & are in NC? Now is the time for us to do exactly that - get as many alums as possible to write letters, quit paying for the alum association, etc. I'm pretty well removed (in VT, not a member of any alum groups) but I'll do what I can from here

Even that is gross imo. There are tons of reasons schools shouldn't be places where students are rounded up to be deported, some legal, some moral, and some educational. If the chancellor will throw these students under the bus who's next?

I'm a 1988 grad living in Vermont. My Carolina friends text chain has been talking about this today. Shameful!

I very distinctly remember hearing about this at the Stasi Museum. Said that all of these people who had been spying / informing on their neighbors for years just went back to regular life after the war. And you had to see them at the grocery store, at the mailbox, walking their dogs, etc.

My favorite thing about the original Nancy Drew books was that she was always driving a "sporty coupe." I wanted one desperately

This is Delia (Deeds). We had to put her down about 2 weeks ago. She loved hanging out in her Cozy Country Cat Cabin
