iv. Did you even read the report? Soy oil is 'one of the cheapest on the market'. This is due to it's being a byproduct of soy cake, which is strongly valued as an animal feed. Literally the demand for the oil is due to it's cheapness......

iii. The point about oil use/demand is irrelevant as demand would probably stay the same in a plant-based, soy is not the only source of oil, & not using as much soy for animal feed would be reflected in the economics & use of the oil.

The report's example of viewing the oil as the primary product is an economic perspective. It still doesn't change the fact that
i. The bulk of soya beans ends up as animal food.
ii. It's inefficient to use as feed, as that adds in another trophic level, and soy can be directly consumed by humans.

I've always thought mod lists are a major flaw with Bluesky. I've seen accounts mistakenly added to mod lists (e.g anti-maga listed as pro-maga), and there's the potential to be maliciously added to a mod list.

I imaged the beehive cluster recently, and only noticed afterwards I managed to pick a very faint galaxy (lower centre right-ish). Even more impressed when I looked it up, and found out it was a magnitude 14.7 object! 😯
