Can we just get the card without a long article?

This article has more turning of points than grandpa Simpson wearing an onion on his belt. Which was the style at the time. If the target audience for this is gen Z or younger, this is a great example of how not to write.

Is this the phase just before the corporation controlled private militaries part of capitalism? Or did we skip that part? Just trying to get my dystopian "fiction" right.

There’s a string of incidents where anyone foreign who has anything derogatory against the current administration in their phones are being detained and expelled from the country. Unsurprisingly the administration that had previously used corrections officers in unmarked vans is back at it again.

In an era where you can have chat gpt do your book report for you, I guess they don’t see the need. Hell, my teachers swore up and down I wouldn’t have a calculator in my pocket for the rest of my life. But there’s a problem with gen z and any long form entertainment or information.

We did. Inner city school in Buffalo NY. One English teacher had a side job as a guard at the big downtown library. I would go in there to read manga, but that was about it outside school. But the other english teacher made it enjoyable.

I don’t think I did. We read in class, but I don’t recall reading outside of school. Now I’m converting half my basement into a personal library.

Maybe it just takes time for them to mature. I didn’t know any bookish millennials until recently. Now when you go to barns and Nobel, or a local book shop, it’s packed with us. But I feel like that wasn’t the case before recently. Possibly “book-tok “
