But a lot of them have been deported to a country that is not their home country. People with different citizenships have been sent to El Salvador.

I was very surprised when my father told me he had written a book. I was even more surprised when I heard he had a publisher. I recently received the copy he sent me. Could you believe, the book is sold out right now? My father is 76 years old.

I think that is a brilliant idea. 😉

There is a Ford assembly plant in Oakville, but I don't know if it's only for the Canadian market.

I wonder when the US will take responsibility for things entering the US. (Not that I believe any of this rubbish, but the US is surely responsible for what comes into the country.)

Your dog looks a bit like my dog. My dog is also not the greatest at looking happy. I have managed to take two pictures when she does not have the same expression as your dog. She is an excellent tail wagger, though.

I said I am interested if US policies affect Canada or Europe. Just as I am interested if any country's policies affect them. I fear we are going around in circles. Calling me a retard for answering your questions and commenting on your comments is a bit silly.

Alberta is very pro-US. That is nothing new. I meant if US policy decisions affect Canada or Europe. Apart from that, I'm not particularly interested.

I don't really care how many of you there are or what you want. I don't have much of an interest in the US apart from when it affects Europe or Canada.

Exploiting Canada by delaying tariffs he said were crucial to his strategy?

If Canada is weak, then why does Trump keep changing the tariffs?

There was a q about the borders. I gave my opinion on the borders re. tariffs. That that was seen as a comment on Mexico's treatment of immigrants was plain bizarre. Biden/Trudeau did make an agreement. The US southern border was patrolled. This is not a me problem.

I have been called a liberal, a Qanon conspiracy theorist, I have been told to shut up, I have been told to go away. As I said, very enlightening. Have a good day.

This conversation thread has been very enlightening. I can only presume you are all suffering from some sort of Twitter PTSD. Get well soon.

It was a question about the border. Not Mexico in itself or immigrants or anything else. But I guess you don't understand that.
comment in response to
post
I don't know anything about Mexico. I was just attempting to comment on the fact that Trump threatened tariffs but backed off when he managed to get a win, but the win wasn't how he presented it, and he actually backed off from tariffs but presented it as a win. That was what my initial comment was.

That was not what my initial point was at all.

As far as I know, Trump sold it as the border being patrolled, but it already was. I don't know what you mean by "qanon shit".
comment in response to

I actually presumed it had more to do with guns.
comment in response to

It sounded like you were querying why they are still there.
comment in response to

Not really, the "agreements" with Trump were recycled. Mexico already patrolled the border, and the Canadian investment was agreed with Biden.

The Ukrainian President himself is asking for US guarantees. He is not accepting European security guarantees by themselves.

I don't really know what your point is. I said they had nuclear weapons and that I doubt they will get them back. I did not mention security guarantees or Putin or the US or anyone else.
