We’ve seen things they’ll never see. Champions League trophies lifted on the shoulders of heroes. The beams of smiling fans at the gates of the Wanda Metropolitana. Hopes of those moments trickle away, like Arsenal tears in the rain. Time to cry.

Just watched the City documentary from last season, Together: 4-in-a-row (it’s on Peacock). No substantive stuff at all … just a bunch of “motivational” duff. Confirmed for me what a bunch of weirdos they are. I would love to see this season’s fly on the wall. But we won’t.
