Aagh, so close for Brighton.

Yep. Re-watched all season 1 over 3 days, and the first 8 minute teaser of Season 2. It is just so good. Locked and loaded for Jan 17.

If they are packaged with a Union Jack on and 4x the regular price at any tourist shop Inc Heathrow they should be banned. These need to be procured from a corner sweet shop, preferably from the pick ‘n mix bins.

I don’t think there is precedent for having titles taken away from them, and having them given to others (inc 2 for us). Beyond a points deduction, the knock on effect of restating history is endlessly problematic. Eg you can’t really un-demote a team and give them the money back

I am luxuriating in their downfall. Hope they end up in League One.

Our defense is pretty good as an entire unit, even without Ibou, and we have Ali back. Hopefully can stifle Solanke. Plus they don’t have the foundation to play out from the back against our press. Forster in goal is a liability.

I see goals. But all ours. 3-0.

I much prefer the vibe and engagement here on BSky. But I found myself going back to the other place to follow yesterday’s match live when I couldn’t watch it on TV because of another engagement. We need a bit more real time commentary on the games here. It’s fine for all the in-between stuff.

Thank you Feyenoord. I consider City well tenderized ahead of Sunday. Bring it on.

Mbappe can go back to his favored left side, so out of the frying pan into the fire, so to say. But we have Ibou.

Get back on to watch City losing 0-3 to Spurs. The Reds are playing for a 8 point lead tomorrow.

The “new” one was the main badge back in the 70s and 80s, so I like it from then. The “old” badge has its place. Depends what clothing or media it’s on.

As the social media and modern technology master you are, you have managed to post something here before @iamjohnoliver.bsky.social. Probably because the England v WI T20 was rained off.

How about doing away with the rule that prohibits live UK TV coverage of 3pm matches as the next big unlock? I understand the rule was introduced in 1960 to counteract the supposed impact on lower division teams’ match attendance. But would that still hold water today?

4 years old. First day of primary school in Cumberland (as it was back then) where all the boys played football every break. My mum, who has never been into footie, sent me with a full red kit. I'm unsure why Liverpool, other than they were good (peak Shankly) and northern. The rest is history.

Me too. Will be interesting to see how well I can follow live sports (up the Reds!) or breaking news here. But for now it is MUCH better for simply following things that interest me without the bilge of bad adverts and bots posting off topic into threads.

This is going to be our season, so better get on board.
