@scottygb.bsky.social ITV1 having a major problem...

Great night at the Grand Jury Final at the #ESC in Basel last night. No spoilers, you'll have to watch the real thing tonight... but I will just say that Nemo has visited a hardware store in preparation.

Basel has some fabulous surprises as you walk round. River banks bursting with wild meadow flowers, ornate and historic drinking fountains and special bike tracks on bridge stairs. It's also a brilliantly organised Eurovision city to be in, a credit to the local organisers. #Eurovision2025

The distinguished older gent in the distance, on the little stage, is being egged on by an Irish contingent on the left, and currently belting out a reprise of Loreen's "Euphoria"! It's a marvelous moment in Eurovision history here in Basel! #eurovision2025

Enjoying an afternoon soaking up some sun in Basel, Switzerland. #esc2025

I made an appearance, briefly, on BBC2 this evening. Well, the back of my head did. The documentary tells the story of the horrific fire at Bradford City Football Club, 40 years ago. It's not an easy watch, but such an important piece of history to be retold. It's on the BBC iPlayer.

Utterly disgusting behaviour by a duo of American bullies. I sincerely hope Buckingham Palace was watching and removes the State visit invitation. Trump's childish shouting and pointing, while Vance jeered from the sidelines, pathetic. NATO should not be a home to these thugs.

Sad to hear of the passing of legendary Hull based broadcaster Tim Jibson. I remember listening to his Paull Hunsley Electric Wireless Show many decades ago. It was a thrill to then later work with him at Viking & Radio Humberside. He'll be arranging an OB from the Pearly Gates, no doubt.

Happy Wednesday morning from northern England today! #Hull

Telly really does have the power to still surprise, challenge, stir deep emotions and make you belly laugh. This C4 series has done it all, it's quite the masterpiece. Watch all 3 series if you haven't done so yet. Thank you #C4. www.channel4.com/programmes/b...

How very sad to read this. Thinking of Peter's family, friends and all his former colleagues at the BBC.
