The event was days ago, so all rather odd that ITV1 couldn't get the programme on air for over 7mins.

Off air for 7 mins now, not a word of explanation yet.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief Pope Leon didn't pick Trump as his name, despite his USA roots.

BBC: "Papal conclave"
Sky: "Pope Vote"

Schengen rules apply if you are flying into their area. Just as all their other laws apply if you visit within their area.
If you follow your logic then you can drive on the left in any country , and expect to pay for everything in pound coins.

Will he be naming a "Day we eventually had to join in the World War efforts"?

Outrageous of the BBC* to put up the cost of its fee by almost a whole 1.5 pence a day.
Just out of interest Sky, how many of your paid for channels are also running adverts? And increases in your own charges to customers, which way are they going?
* the Gvt sets the increase, not the BBC.

In other surprising music nostalgia, this epic piece that launched Channel 4 in the UK, was written by David Dundas, the guy who had a hit with a song called "Jeans On", which became an advert.

I know of many friends here in the UK who have cancelled or rearranged plans in order to avoid travelling to the US. Sadly, your current president and government are making a mockery out of a once proud and welcoming nation. Apparently their ability to make the rich richer takes precedent.

That's a lovely tribute, Dean. I was also lucky to be with my Dad when he died, so I understand the peace that that can bring at such a difficult time. Be thankful he knew so clearly what he meant to you, now it's time to be good to yourself and those closest to you too.

The King needs to withdraw the State visit invitation, unless he's happy to host a set of bullies.

And to think Zelensky was having to translate in real time, and then reply in English in real time too.

And let's not forgot, the Presidents grasp of English is not his strong point.
Meanwhile the other President, Mr Zelensky, revealed again how good he is at English, translating Trump and Vance's jibberish in real time.

Utterly disgusting behaviour by a duo of American bullies, as I watch in the UK.
I sincerely hope Buckingham Palace was watching and removes the State visit invitation. Trump's childish shouting and pointing, while Vance jeered from the sidelines, pathetic. NATO should not be a home to these thugs.

It's utterly unbelievable. Drump is going to force a world order change that he can't control - but it will be for his own personal gain, everything he does always is. He'll trash the US's standing, likely cause new wars & become become one of history's worst pariahs.
The world is at a crossroads.

So sad to read of Peter's passing.
He was one of the first announcers I worked with at BBC tv. Like so many, I had a shiver run down my spine when I was first introduced to him. I'd grown up hearing that wonderful voice all my life, then he shook my hand.
A lovely gentleman, utterly charming.

Apple did bend the knee, if it didn't fix an obvious political propaganda move.
Apple is significantly able to manage not to be drawn into this stunt, should it be so bothered to do so.

Ah, the first BBC station that I worked for full time... and, as it turned out 30 years later, the last when I ran it for a year!
Loved being on air with this package, although we only ever heard them in mono, as BBC LR didn't have stereo cart machines in those days!

Trump Beachside Hotel & Villa resort plans anywhere?

I'm watching on from the UK, it is utterly astonishing and baffling that a country with such a rich tradition of embracing cultures from across the world can find itself stuck with an administration headed by a man with so few, if any, redeeming qualities.
