Just back from a 3h bike ride. Daft idea in this heat. It’s 33C in the living room which feels quite cool.

The “alarmist” IPCC were actually way too conservative.

Octopus sales guy in a shopping centre tried to persuade me to fix gas late last year as it was “about to go up”. Stayed on tracker. Fixing now would be much lower than back then. Hard to predict future but the trend seems downwards currently.

Voted green last time around as I felt it was safe enough to do so. But in 2029 I might have to vote LD to try to keep Reform out. Obviously no point voting labour as they’re no longer a socialist party.

The other day a podcast my OH was watching was talking about the Fermi paradox. I think they mentioned nuclear weapons and AI as potential reasons for advanced civilisations to wipe themselves out. But accidental black holes could be it.

This present Labour government is truly ugly in heart and spirit. A bunch of suits with withered hearts.

We are surrounded by wood burning stoves in our village. On a still winter evening the air quality is terrible. This kind of pollution damages hearts, lungs and brains. It’s a terrible idea.

I’d already decided in about 2022 I’d never buy another Tesla. I still have the (2019) car but I’ve been going out of my way to avoid giving them any more money. So I cancelled premium connectivity and have it serviced by an independent garage. And I’ve been avoiding Tesla chargers.

There was likely a boost to all EV sales caused by changes to VED rules from April 1st. So maybe there’ll be a correction next month. Even if not, they’re cooked.
