Uh huh

It's also breathtaking bad faith to imply that a researcher saying, "I don't want my work to be weaponized" is engaging in some sort of nefarious cover-up. The NYT article *is* weaponizing her work! You're doing exactly the thing she was afraid of.

1) There's functionally no evidence Trump won because of trans folk which is handy because 2) the anti-trans movement extremely openly isn't listening to science at fucking all and neither are you.

Saying 'distraction' closes off future lines of attack and it also trivializes the action in question and frankly no official statement or policy of the President of the United States should be trivial.
It also focuses on the 'distraction,' which is exactly what you want to avoid.

At least Thomas was honest that he just didn't care about the discrimination.

John Roberts really is a ChatGPT justice. Read alone, his opinions are superficially plausible and consistent, but if you know anything about the details then it's a word salad that grossly misrepresents the issues and the facts, and which can't be squared with the precedent.

Brad Lander physically put his body on the line to protect a person being targeted by ICE goons, and this was the result. He’s an elected city official and mayoral candidate, but he’s also a good person. If every elected Dem showed that kind of bravery, we’d be in a much different position.

You will never achieve 100% coverage in testing. It is literally impossible.
You can, however, predict the most likely and problematic angles of failure and risk and test accordingly *if given sufficient resources, professionalism, and support for your voice.*

This is extremely not to say that QA is blameless in issues that arise, though often when they are major or widespread the story is more about QA being underfunded or ignored.
But professional QA are usually very, VERY good at identifying the risk vectors for a project. We just aren't always heard.
