SCOTUS and HHS are severely broken. These need to be the priority for Dems in every national campaign.

Sure looks like there were more in the parade than watching it.

Looking at the pics, lots of empty space, and not just between his ears.

His dad would never throw him a birthday party, so he decided to throw one for himself. And then no one came... Now what?

Local quality varies a lot, so ask the locals where they go. Out of the way mom-and-pops can be surprisingly good. Also try the brisket and chicken, and simple smoked sausage. And while still in TX, TexMex is a must!

Joe did die in 1957. Sadly, McCarthyism did not.

For those objecting to George Clooney or CNN for whatever reason, feel free, but Edward R Murrow and Walter Cronkite, who followed him, were trusted and loved by a vast majority of Americans. If you instead kowtowed to Joe McCarthy and his madness, you'll have to answer to your Maker for that.

Perhaps not, but it would to everyone else. It would end the speculation and the narratives about what is or is not there. If crimes are revealed in the Epstein files, then covering them up is itself a crime.

6,000 to 12,000 estimated fatalities, but no way to count back then. The Great Storm of 1900.

Galveston TX could be celebrating a reenactment on the 125 yr anniversary of the last hurricane that hit them blind.

On cat 4s and 5s, it could become a real life game of Russian roulette. I also wonder how many more insurance companies will abandon the Gulf coast.

CT did show what was possible and how to avoid accountability.

A man who has no concept of service speaks to graduates who are about to enter careers of service to their country. I cringe in anticipation of his Monday speech on the day all decent Americans honor those who have given their last full measure of devotion to their country. There are no words.

Enjoy the moment, as this may not last long. ACB recused herself for good reason, but she may be the deciding vote if a similar case arises where she has no conflicts.

Unfortunately, this is not as solid an affirmation as you suggest. SCOTUS deadlocked 4-4, which let the lower court judgement stand. We should applaud Justice Barrett for recusing herself due to her personal connections with the petitioners, but it's really just kicking the can down the road.

I have to disagree with your House limits of 3 terms. That's only 6 years, and most members don't have a sufficient feel for the workings of the chamber until year 2 or 3, if they're both lucky and capable. Just an example, AOC is in her 4th term now, and she is quite capable.

You'll get none of this without a Constitutional amendment. The Catholics had it right in not allowing cardinals over 80 to participate in the recent Conclave. Work off of that. And end lifetime appointments for all federal judges.

Highly likely that 1000 cases is a significant undercount. TX and HHS are making no effort to determine a real number.

Professional (and major college) sports are businesses, and their product is entertainment. The individual sports will go wherever the money takes them. Owners will always lament their loss of control, like the demise of the reserve clause and the emergence of NIL.

And when this nightmare term is over, he will likely spend the rest of his life in court or in jail. And anyone he does not pardon may suffer the same fate.

FL, OK, and all of the deep south states are giving them stiff competition.

Why is a council woman's campaign an issue for a federal court?

The disturbing / sickening part is that 10% of the Dems believe this nonsense.

A top player that will make a splash. But both ways in 2 speed positions? Opponents will love it. It's not college.

Both of Meghan's children are natural born US citizens and therefore eligible to be President once they turn 35. Makes no difference where they were born.

Or when a Muslim or Hindu or Buddhist or Jew or atheist opts out of all Bible-oriented classes in OK, TX, and FL?

Time to list all the banned books from Florida, Texas, and the military academies and re-market them as a bucket reading list.

And not one ounce was remotely clean. The true costs to public health and the environment have been whitewashed for decades. Coal production needs to be shut down everywhere.

Might not want to hold up any part of DHS as a standard for secrecy these days, except maybe DOGE's inner sanctum.
