Vestige. a brush test morphing into a full sketch. painted while listening to: lan Hawgood - Celia Ashen

Looks fucking fire πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

For a few people following this 8 bit computer thingy, here it is :D I no longer need to worry about this 8 bit hardware for some time in the future. Everything tested to be working properly, including all the PCBs and stuff. #8bit #retrocomputing #homebrew

Reminder that za/um is made up of businesspeople that stole disco elysium from the creators, kicked them out of the company, are currently suing them, and are making a mobile game of disco elysium Do not pay money for DE, and do not give za/um a cent otherwise www.newsweek.com/entertainmen...

I have a question for any Level Designers out there. The question is open to anyone of course, but I'd love to hear from "pro's": Do you see value in designing map layouts in 2D top down views, if the game is 3D. Paper sketches, doodles etc. or do you think you should ONLY "sketch" in 3D?

Look at what a simple temp pivot + shift drag extrude can do in Unreal Engine now with Scythe (coming in the next version).

Yes

Lady Dimitrescu "one single titty" was a draw suggestion I got on tumblr that made me laugh, so I had to... #re8 #ladydimitrescu

Great thread πŸ‘Œ

Since I have no job in animation since June 2024, I'm training in 3D mech modeling to learn the basics & maybe be able to do my own. And that's thanks to @blendersecrets.bsky.social & @chromamoma.bsky.social I have rarely experienced a tutorial in such a serene way! #Blender is definitely a bangerπŸ”₯

Did all this without following any tutorials, it wasn't easy lol, but it works great and isn't super complex.

Next #Quake Champions Classic update adds a new weapon and changes the weapon systems to be a bit closer to Quake Champions. #gamedev #FPS #ohgoditsalmost6am

Hi, I'm Justin! I'm a solo developer creating a fun, accessible game creation tool that anyone can use to bring a story or idea to life, regardless of experience or skill level! 😊 What stories and worlds will you create? πŸ•ΉοΈ #rpginabox #godot

Hello Bsky! We're Studio Whalefall, a small team of devs working on BRINE- a boomer shooter set along the Cornish coast. We're early into development, but here's a few teasers... Watch this space! πŸ³πŸ‘€ #gamedev #unitydev #indiedev #boomershooter

We need this level of concepts again

Two of the greats, doodling together. How awesome

god i've only been working on updating this area for like a day & i'm already so, so much happier with how it looks over the old one

Knock off n64 sonic? #lowpoly #n64 #sonic #gamedev

there are so many people looking for work in the #gameindustry right now. it would make so much sense for people to open up their own indie studios with all that talent floating around and make cool creative shit that most of the AAA studios wouldnt dare releasing. #gamedevjobs #diyordie

More folk need to support indies, indies that aren't popular yet, or indies that are starting out. Share them, show your friends. literally had someone in a random discord server recognize one of my characters and it made my whole weekend. Indie thrives off the support of the community

LOAD "*", 8,1 I'd particularly like to hear from North American C64 users on this as it'll help with the next article I'm writing on the C64 in the USA and Canada and how the games market differed from Europe's. What games and edutainment titles did you play?

messing around with tiling near-perfect hexagons on Quake's grid/factor of 16px texture size - the angles are only about a degree off a perfect hexagon which is imperceptible when it's this low-res. 96x112px (tiled to fill a 250x250px image scaled up 8x)

I made a huge doorway in blender and exported it into Quake.

I absolutely loved this machine. Shame it died a death though
