Out of curiosity, why do the surrounding Arab countries get a complete pass on any responsibility for the wellbeing of the Palestinians? Considering that the stated purpose of Hamas is the elimination of Israel, it seems odd that their intended victim should care more about their assailants.

No. Maybe you’ve never heard of Hamas? Israel ceded the Gazans that territory and they elected Hamas. Hamas is responsible for ongoing attacks on Israel.

It’s interesting that the average Congressional approval rating for the last two completed administrations is only 19.5%, whereas whereas the average re-election rate for Representatives is 90-95% and 80-85% for Senators. Seems like people who vote don’t actually pay attention.

I understand your response. However, a critique of the spending choices of one of the few self-made extremely wealthy women in this country, who is actually known for her generosity, seems petty, not “mild,” given the current political and economic landscape.
