My Slackware now hosts my entire media collection wirelessly to every device in my home and a few remotely. With the push of a power button, everything is now automatically configured without having to lift a finger. On hardware that Apple decided is too old to do anything anymore.

After a full week, a trip to Walmart for a cheap usb keyboard, several failures to launch, bashing my head off the table repeatedly and several hundred hours digging through forums and manages, I am now the proud owner of a late 2009 iMac running Slackware 15 with full drivers and desktop effects.
