Hey poor people like to have a taste of luxury here and there too. If anyone knows that it's perpetually broke people like myself.

I guess vacated would be a better term.

I'd say it's more of a successful invasion into abandoned territory. They won the war, but they won vacant land, as most the original citizens emigrated.

I mean, it's probably not a great idea to stick the confederates and the KKK in a room with anyone on the left of this meme, and probably not a great idea to force anyone on left frame to accept any of the ideologies of the right frame. Both are incompatible with each other, but fine apart.

I'm conflicted on this one. On the one hand, the quality of the monitor would be beyond anything else on the market. On the other hand, so would the price, and the inputs would most likely be limited to 1 industry standard plug and several proprietary connectors.

As I have already covered. The point you are missing are the words between "right" and "debate" The important bit here, is civility.

You are proving my point by exercising your right to disagree with me.

You have essentially said the same thing as me, only better put together. Also by disagreeing with me and stating your case you are exercising the very right you just said no one is entitled to. In the same point you have contradicted yourself.

That's the fun part about debate, just because they have a thought doesn't mean we have to agree, fortunately it also doesn't mean we have to take abuse for having a differing opinion, nor are we obligated to make them see our own personal standpoint.

This is fantastic, unfortunately my particular interest is so off the beaten path, that I had to do most, if not all my troubleshooting almost completely blind. There isn't much of a Slackware community, and the amount of people running slack on obsolete apple HW is slim to none.

I cannot agree as I don't understand the euphemism. What I do agree with is everyone as in every person with legal citizenship is entitled to healthy non-offensive debate regardless of their own personal point of view.

Both. I use it for personal use, however it also acts as a server to host all my backed up media to every device in the house. External 750Gb HDD for media, plexmediaserver for media host. All up to date and secure thanks to Linux.

Initially after switching from high Sierra I tried using debian, unfortunately the kernel is too new and the video card is no longer supported except with nouveau. So the search began for an up to date distro with an older kernel build. That's when I decided on Slackware.

I definitely am, I found it on eBay a year or so ago, gently used as a retired school computer. Ran it up until a week or so ago with high Sierra, but macports and homebrew started failing as more and more projects starting being taken down. Apple stopped supporting this OS years ago.

Definitely less of a headache than setting up an emulator to update 1 firmware. :)

These things happen. At one point in the not so distant past it was easier to emulate an android device for situations like this, these days it's often easier to just grab an old device from local online marketplace or from a mobile resellers kiosk.

On a related note, what do you figure the useful lifespan is for mRNA based injections after they are administered?.. we could be seeing the beginning of the injections dying off and bloodcells treating them as infection or foreign matter. Just my personal uneducated thought.

Democracy and echo chambers don't do well together. In order for democracy to work, everyone needs to have a voice. If everyone is just echoing everything they hear, are they really making their own decisions? Do they really have a voice?

I don't have this problem. Everyone rightfully assumes I don't have snap, because as far as trending platforms for, I'm ancient.

So in other words, just don't be terrible people. Glad I didn't bother to read it, seems straightforward enough.

Does this thing have a TOS? I never bothered to read it, didn't interest me as this seems so far to be a much better managed platform than the others.

Getting burnt up in the sun, If you like sleeping in a coffin, I don't think you will be the one. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Wonder how deep they were able to drill without water and without a bit tech.

We all bleed red, and when you get right down to it, we all share a common set of ancestors, and it's not the two the little black book would suggest.. at least based on genetic tracing.

Literally the only reason this platform exists. All the others that came out before, came out too soon so they didn't catch on. Mastedon is slowly catching on but has a long way to go.

Not if you have moisture or humidity aggravated bronchitis/asthma it isn't. They always fail to mention that part.

That's hilarious, too bad it's a farce for humour. At least we get some farts for humour as a pun.

His career goal was to hijack global healthcare. And he almost got away with, except he's a terrible public speaker that can't keep his story straight. The same way most career criminals get caught.

Yeah, people are idiots, and many will believe anything they are told as long as there are enough voices behind it.

As long as you get good feedback. If it backfires you might need something stronger than an anti-depressant.
