Wow, congrats, great going!

Ah the old days, where there were teams of Q.C. to test for that. Now the Q.C. is the early purchasers of the software

Congratulations, quite an achievement!

Congrats on the new position

Thanks for sharing, you make some really nice stuff,

I would say, a world with a myriad of side quests and collections that are non-essential to the plot is world building, look at witcher 3, skyrim, even the final fantasy series, they are hard to 100% because there is so much to do, but that makes them good games to play

Congrats on the 300 wishes, ill just add one more to your total 😉

Great work!!!

*SIGH* Fine!!!! Erm... How much is a lot? And where do you want it sent? Usual address? (Princesses Armaita, *REDACTED* BLVD, *REDACTED*, Armaitaland?)

I found a more relaxed stress free flying spider for you, ok its not a spider, but at first glance, its the fury legs that do it!
comment in response to post
Accept yourself, we willingly have accepted you and actually look forward to interacting with you. As a person you are beautiful, every interaction with you has left me feeling better and on your looks... If you think you are ugly then i am sorry but i disagree, strongly!
comment in response to post
Yep, totally stress free! Murdering swarms of techno bugs is my happy place
comment in response to post
Would be pretty easy to set up, a gameobject with a trigger collider attached, OnTriggerEnter, if statement testing the player game object collider and boom! Sandworm trap with flying spiders
comment in response to post
Hahaha, did i mention they need to burrow as well? so they can come out of the ground lazers firing then launch themselves at the vehicle?
comment in response to post
Jetpacks?!??!? That... Is... Awesome!!!! And shoulder mounted lazer cannons
comment in response to post
Madam, your bugs need wings!
comment in response to post
That should most definitely be part of the game until you skill up with them!

Still refining my solo effort will submit mine in an hour or so

That looks great, fantastic scene, really adds a kind of background lore, well thats what i get from that clip, good work!
comment in response to post
That looks great, is it using procedural animation? Ive been wanting to try that
comment in response to post
Started on the speccy 48k, same here!
comment in response to post
Madam, you have your very own niche, not an already existing one you kinda git into and many of us 'internetians' love it!
comment in response to post
Yeah i love the programming, but i like doing the UI, as an indie i do everything, so when it comes to the 3d modelling, thats the bit i get sick of, good luck anyway!
comment in response to post
There, there, it'll all be okay, there's light at the end of the tunnel, once you're finished you'll look back and say "wow it only took me seven years to build that bit" and you'll be happy to be out of that very, very long dark and lonely tunnel
comment in response to post
So true, its not just you, but we get to make the games we love to play, hopefully, one day, everyone else will love them too
comment in response to post
That is a good point! I totally forgot that a lot of people do call them instances, thats probably the best reply, can i change my answer to instance?
comment in response to post
Ahhhhh, government reducing migration, you should be ok, you're a skilled and experienced individual, most nations will probably leap to have you. But moving country is never easy and pretty damn expensive.
comment in response to post
Hostility? Is that from the people or the government? I left the UK years ago but i was born there, i never considered the place to be hostile, but i was seeing things from the "other" side!

Kind of, i would differentiate a "G.O." from a prefab as a prefab can be made of GOs not the other way around, or a prefab can be a GO with scripts or functionality attached. In your example the dining set would be the prefab, the building blocks (table and chairs) are GOs
comment in response to post
Granted.*hugs* (maybe a bit longer than needed) and hands over some plane tickets
comment in response to post
Reusable objects like bullets or NPCs i would just call "G.O.s" short for Game Objects IF I was not allowed to call them prefabs!

+1 for the hex shielded version on the left, looks more cyber!

I actually had a dream i ate a giant marshmallow, when i woke up, my pillow had disappeared!
comment in response to post
Hitting the pillow! Madam! Violence solves nothing especially against defenceless marshmallow soft pillows.... Mmmmmmm marshmallows!
