He is a wanted criminal. He is wanted for being a collaborator and a traitor. He collaborated in torture and the mass murder of civilians. I'm ok if, instead of handing him off to the Taliban, they send him to The Hague to live out the rest of his life in jail for his war crimes.

The US used to sometimes be better than the alternative. The rapist y'all voted into office literally destroyed all situations in which I would give them even minimal credit. I would object to the deportation of literally anyone, finding a case where deportation makes sense is surprising.

I'm not in the US, the insurance industry is regulated here and generally speaking it pays all claims, including gray area ones. It is usually cheaper to pay even silly claims than risk being prosecuted by the regulator.

Absolutely not, the US invasion of Afghanistan was so brutal as to help permanently cement the Taliban. The US actually helped the Taliban wipe out all its opposition before the Taliban decided that being a colony to America wasn't their thing.
