I sorta miss the era of the 20th century news baron. Most of them had some pretty shitty world views but at least they had some backbone. They'd own a metropolitan with 3m readers and they'd strike fear into the heart of politicians. Now these dudes with 3bn users worldwide cower like struck puppies
