I usually have a little gear icon, for my Dev & Debug popover, but it takes room on the layout, and some of them are tight, lol

Everything you can do to slow down ICE's ethnic cleansing pogrom will save lives. If you make it so it takes 12 goons to do a 6-goon job, you're saving lives. Every minute they spend in location 1 is a minute they can't spend in location 2. Every squad they deploy to your city saves another city.

ICE's goal is not terror. Terror is a nice byproduct for them, but ICE's goal is ethnic cleansing. If terror were the main goal, then Stephen Miller wouldn't be screaming at these guys on phone calls about upping their numbers. Ethnic cleansing requires logistics and it takes resources.

To be clear: Protest organizers intentionally selected military veterans as safety volunteers, one spotted an armed protester (which is legal in Utah) and shot him, and ended up shooting/killing another protester + now the volunteer veteran is free, while the armed protester is booked for murder.

The lawmakers assassinated in MN are not the first victims of murder enabled by the data broker industry. But many of the previous victims were marginalized & unknown: mostly women who were targeted by abusers or stalkers The tech industry lobbied fiercely against bills that would have stopped this

But we have an entire intellectual class that has somehow convinced the public — and itself — that describing basic political realities is a form of bias. "Don't unfairly judge the right" has become "don't judge the right" — even when the facts indicate that they deserve blame.

But looking at every situation and concluding "both sides are to blame" is *also* an ideology! This murder represents a clear-cut and common scenario: A right-winger with conservative Pickle-Brain commits violence against the left. Concluding that the left also bears responsibility is absurd.

The entire point of the centrist position is that extreme ideology produces bad information and incorrect analysis. And this is true! If every situation leads you to conclude "capitalism is bad" or "big government is bad," you can't fix problems or move forward.

Israel picked a fight with Iran and now people are dying because Bibi doesn't want to go to jail and because people in the Israeli government continue to work with him and because enough Israelis vote for him every time there's an election People are dying
